Bistro 135

Hey all!!!!! Our innaugural post will be Bistro 135 , a quaint bistro in East Rochester. It's been in existence for about 4 years now and I must say, I'm upset at myself for not getting out there sooner. It has great ambiance, and the staff is very friendly. Monday through Friday, they have happy hour from 5pm-7pm and select appetizers and well cocktails are $5 and select draft beers are $3. They also have live jazz every day that they are open. We decided to order a few appetizers:

The first appetizer was fried calamari...it was absolutely delicious! It was served in a cute Chinese take out container and came with a dipping sauce, not too sure what it was, but it was great. Next up, were the crab cakes, you get two and they were pretty good too. The best part of the meal were the mussells. They were served in a creamy dijon sauce, topped with french fries. The sauce was so good, you wanted to get a spoon and eat the sauce after the mussells were gone, which we did...lol! Since the happy hour specials are only if you sit at the bar, that is where we sat and we orded a few coctails from the great bartenders Katelyn and Lee!  We had lemon drop martinis and a Limon, a martini with muddled lemons and  it had quite a kick. The assistant manager Krystal even stopped over and said hello.  The service is great and we will definitly be going back, well actually, we have already been back and the service was just as great as the first time.  If you're ever in the mood for great food and a great atmosphere, stop into Bistro 135.
